Sperling Vineyards Organic Market White 2018
An Okanagan blend of equal parts Bacchus and Pinot Blanc (45% each) with 10% Riesling, all from old vines averaging 30 years. Fresh apricot from the orchard on the nose, alongside bright lime citrus and a touch of pithy yellow apple. The palate is surprising. I had anticipated a hint of sweetness, but it’s not there. The body is light and lean, dry and supremely well-balanced. Tasted September 2021.
