Sebastiani North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a lovely rendition from California's North Coast. Grapes come from sites in Lake County (volcanic, rocky soils) and Sonoma County, with a small portion from Santa Barbara County. Aromatics include a ripe red cherry and plum medley mingling with bold blackberry and blueberry. Hints of dried herb, toasty cedar and baking spice linger in the background. Its full body delivers approachable tannins with a balance of savoury - ideal for Sunday night dinner of decadent roast lamb, roasted root veggies and butter-laden mashed potatoes with a generous amount of garlic. Tasted September 2021.
Process: Aged in new and used French, Hungarian and American oak.
