Romeo’s Gin X
An ultra-premium offering from Romeo's Gin, X is pink, but not what you think, or so says their website. And I agree, a surprising herbal bouquet leads the charge. Notes of cucumber, lavender, dried dill offer up a bone dry gin, yet smooth. Romeo's Gin X came with grapefruit bitters, for which I was happy to have it lure a bit more of the gin's citrus character. Do-able with tonic, but my personal preference steers me towards soda water and a splash of simple syrup. Tasted July 2021.
