Mission Hill Reserve Rosé 2021
One thing I will always appreciate is a multi-varietal rosé. Of course, single varietals have their moment, but a blend shows attention to detail and a desire to showcase unique composition. To me, it's a vastly more exciting wine. Mission Hill Reserve Rosé 2021 is a blend of majority Pinot Noir (56%), with almost equal parts Merlot and Shiraz supporting. The grapes grow in Mission Hill's Oliver and Osoyoos blocks in the southern Okanagan Valley. The wine is crisp, vibrant, and impressive. Aromas of lemon sorbet, raspberry, and cherry stems fill the glass. The wine is dry, with medium acidity that leads to a creamy mouthfeel. Crushable on its own but would sing alongside food. Tasted June 2022.
Process: 100% stainless steel.
