Masi Campofiorin 50 Veronese Red 2014 is the 50th anniversary blend of Campofiorin. The appassimento style of wine originated from the Masi family in 1964 and became a mainstay winemaking style across the region. It has rich aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry alongside cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate delivers more dark fruits, such as plum and black cherry, with a hint of vanilla bean and anise. Soft tannins and a juicy finish. Tasted February 2018.
