Kendall-Jackson Vintner’s Reserve Chardonnay 2020
A lovely contrast to the 2018 vintage, tasted back-to-back — with more vibrant fruit flavours, including lemon, stone fruit, and coconut husk, alongside integrated oak. The grapes come from across California, from as far north as Mendocino County, to as far south as Santa Barbara County. But all are from cool coastal pockets where complexity thrives. The mouthfeel is round and smooth, through to a delightful finish. Tasted October 2022.
