El Petit Bonhomme Tinto 2019
Made in the harsh climate of southwest Spain, 30-year-old bush vines comprise this blend of 55% Monastrell, 30% Garnacha, and 15% Syrah. El Petit Bonhomme Tinto 2019 is aromas of rich and ripe dark plums intertwined with salty black liquorice and dried garrigue. Similar dark fruit flavours on the palate are present alongside grippy tannins that eventually mellow into a smooth finish. Tasted March 2022.
Process: 6 months in oak (225L French barrels for the Monastrell and Syrah and 300L American oak for the Garnacha).
