A crushable blend of 79% Zinfandel, 13% Petite Sirah and 8% Syrah. Black fruits and blueberries dance throughout a mocha and cinnamon-laden bouquet. Edmeades Zinfandel 2017 is dry with a medium body and round juicy tannins. Overall, a rich, boisterous wine, well-integrated through the finish. Tasted April 2021.
Process: 20 months in oak (59% French, 41% American / 20% new).
