The decades-old Riesling vines for this estate-grown wine grow in the northern part of the Okanagan Valley. It's highly aromatic with distinct petrol on the nose and fruit aromas of white grapefruit, yellow apple, and lime pith. CedarCreek Estate Riesling 2020 is steely, with blazing acidity. Refreshing through a harmonious finish. Tasted March 2022.

Visiting Rundle Bar at Banff Fairmont is always a highlight ✨, this time in particular, as I decided to indulge in their infamous purple potion: Rundle Bar Gin.

Juniper berries, fresh orange wheel, a hint of fresh rosemary, and Fever Tree Indian Tonic dance in the glass; each sip takes you to new heights - literally! You can't see the epic mountain views in the background, but it's astounding how a drink becomes even better when surrounded by nature's grandeur. It's like the mountains are toasting with us. 🥂 If you're ever in Banff, this iconic libation is a must-try.
