CedarCreek Estate Pinot Noir 2019
Life at CedarCreek is in constant evolution thanks to the estate’s wildlife. From bees to chickens and worms to Scottish Highland cows, they work in harmony to create a healthy ecosystem where vineyards thrive. Introducing bees, chickens, and cover crops was part of CedarCreek’s three-year plan to convert to organic viticulture. As of July 2021, its vineyards are certified organic, with Kurt Simcic, Organic Viticulturist, at the helm. CedarCreek Estate Pinot Noir 2019 displays sour cherry and plum aromas that lead through a web of earthiness and spice. Well-structured and savoury on the front-palate leading to layers of ripe fruit and dancing acidity. Tasted November 2021.
Process: 12 months in French oak barrels.
