Attems Pinot Grigio 2018

Attems Pinot Grigio 2018 is not a new release, but four years later, it’s fresh and encompassing all Friuli offers. Impressive fruit character with pear and green apple leading the charge. Wafts of grapefruit and lemon zest follow suit, with a slight hint of orange blossom lingering in the background. Balanced on the palate with a subtle minerality alongside lively acidity. There’s a nuanced depth with hints of nut and white pepper. Tasted January 2022.

Process: 10% aged in wooden barriques. After fermentation, the wine rested for four months on lees.
