Editor's Note: This wine was rated by Nicole for Decanter (published June 28, 2023) 92 pts - 1 Mill Road Pinot Noir Rosé 2022 comes from one of Okanagan Valley's newest sub-GI's, East Kelowna Slopes, where mostly stony soils are mixed with gravel and glacial deposits. An alluring nose brings out aromas of strawberry cream with an ever-so-slight hint of cotton candy and butterscotch. The bone-dry wine is silky in texture, with a pleasant mix of red grapefruit and red berry flavours with persistent acidity, exuding an overall refinement in its close.
Process: 18% fermented to dryness in a seasoned French oak barrel. Biweekly lees stirring for 3 months before blending.
