Tenuta Rapitala Alto Reale Sicilia DOC 2024 is a fresh and lifted expression of Nero d’Avola, maintaining the grape’s natural warmth and depth. The wine opens with ripe black cherry, wild plum, dried herbs, and a faint cocoa note. There’s a softness to the tannins that makes it immediately approachable, but the clay soils and elevation bring enough tension and savoury edge to keep it from feeling broad or heavy. Enjoyable over the next two to three years while the fruit remains vibrant. Tasted May 2026.
