The Legend of Big Bill Cabernet Sauvignon 2018
Big Bill wine, and the 22,000L oak vat that the wine ages in, is named after William “Big Bill” Millar. Once a boxing champ, he was the first general manager of KWV. Big Bill Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 offers loads of black fruits, such as bramble and black cherry, alongside touches of sweet mocha mix. The body is medium with ripe fruit flavours. It’s dry with supple tannins and decent acidity. There’s a hint of black liquorice and cigar box through the lengthy finish. Tasted June 2021.
