Niche Wine Co. Small Batch Bubbles 2020
In this day in age, when our industry and consumers beg for transparency, this bottle does not divulge much. Though the winery says that grapes were hand-picked on two beautiful sun-soaked days by willing friends and family, we do not know what grapes they were. And initial fermentation occurred in stainless steel drums, after which the wine was left to sit on its lees. However, we do not know if the bubbles were produced by a secondary fermentation or with a burst of CO2. Nonetheless, Niche Wine Co. Small Batch Bubbles 2020 is a refreshing sparkler with notes of peaches, ripe honeydew, and honey. Easy-drinking and perfect alongside a dessert of shortcake with fresh summer berries.
