I get it, Chardonnay can sometimes be a polarizing grape. But I promise you, the more you taste and experiment with versions from different regions, the more you will grow to adore this brilliant grape. I’d qualify this one from La Crema as somewhat of a typical expression from California with heightened level of elegance. Aromas of ripe melon, apple and buttercream. Dry on the palate with a generous body. Round flavours and a sumptuous finish. Tasted May 2021.
