Estate-grown from 30-year-old vines, it opens with dark, juicy fruit and a subtle savoury edge, followed by hints of cocoa, coffee, and warm spice. It's full and plush through the middle, with ripe tannins that give the wine shape. This is the kind of red that works equally well with burgers, grilled vegetables, roast chicken or anything with a good char. Tasted October 2023.
