1983 Creamy Espresso Martini
The first three or four sips of 1983 Creamy Espresso Martini are the real deal: creamy, smooth, and packed with convincing coffee flavour. Its ingredient include decaffeinated Brazilian coffee alongside Colombian coffee, and you can taste that coffee character rather than a vague, sweet coffee flavour, while 15% ABV brings enough alcohol to make it feel like a proper cocktail. Then the sweetness takes over. What starts out tasting balanced and genuinely drinkable gets increasingly dessert-like as you sip, with the sugar eventually masking some of that good coffee character. I’d serve this very cold and in a small glass rather than drinking it straight from the can. It’s a convenient after-dinner option for espresso martini fans, especially if you like yours on the sweeter side. Tasted August 2026.
